Diana Railton
Diana Railton is Managing Director of DRCC.
She combines more than 25 years' practical and managerial experience with a strong academic understanding of communication, the web and content strategy.
Background
Trained initially as a writer and editor in commercial publishing, Diana has held both communications management and research positions.
Before setting up DRCC, she was Communications Manager for British Telecom's procurement, strategy and network services division.
She was also a Research Fellow in Communication at the Language Studies Unit of Aston University.
She has both a Masters degree in Applied Linguistics and a postgraduate diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. With these qualifications she can use a solid framework of linguistic analysis in content audits.
Web communication and content strategy
Diana has specialised in web communication and content strategy for the last 12 years. She has helped many clients improve their websites and intranets.
She has been a judge for one of the largest international web awards competitions in the world, WebAward, since 2009. She is often asked to help judge broader corporate communication awards.
A regular conference speaker and workshop facilitator, Diana is tutor for DRCC's training courses on web content strategy, web writing and editing and advanced web writing.

Behind the scenes
Diana was elected a fellow of the British Association of Communicators in Business (now the Institute of Internal Communication) in 2004.
She is a member of:

She also runs the LinkedIn group South West Corporate Communicators.
